Another world, another time…
The majority of the game takes place in the biggest city on New Earth, Kin City. Kin is the center of everything from culture to shopping. It is packed with looming sky scrapers and new architecture. Here you will find everything from shopping malls to office buildings. In the city you will find everything you need. Bars, schools, apartment buildings and homes. It is a city pulsing with life, from its bright center to its dark and shady outskirts. It also houses a large airship traffic center for off planet travel and parking for ground bound shuttles.
Kin City began as the hub of civilization hundreds of years ago when New Earth was first settled. Over time, a culture unique to the world has been created. The melding of Old Earth ways with new world needs, as well as the influence of other-worlders, has spawned a world rich with art, religion, language, literature, and industry.
As the main port for off world transit, everything that is imported or exported goes through Kin. Every part of New Earth is represented in enclaves around the city. Aliens have their own neighborhoods. Races and cultures tend to stick together, no matter how integrated and progressive the city as a whole is.
As with any city, there is a little bit of everything to see and do, if you just know where to look. Museums, theaters, parks, shopping, and businesses are plentiful…but so are the more base forms of entertainment and work. If it can be found, you'll find it in kin. You might not even be looking for it. It may just find you.
